AFG becomes the first foreign organisation to win the label ‘Normandie Impressionniste’ and the Renoir Walk is officially part of its programme. WILLIAM LE LACHEUR-INSPIRED FOOTBALL SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION
AFG organises a football shirt design competition to celebrate the legacy of 19th-century seafarer William Le Lacheur, who introduced football to Costa Rica. The competition is open to all the local schools and hundreds of submissions are received. The theme is the best football shirt ever, with decorative features from Guernsey and Costa Rica. The 18 winning designs are printed on real football shirts and displayed like fine art on mannequins

Jake is a local boy unable to attend school because of a challenging heart condition, forcing him to be close to the hospital all the time. Arts For Impact decides to improve his daily life by decorating his bedroom with his favourite hero characters, tremendously boosting his morale and sense of wellbeing. AFG makes a donation to finance this project.

EUGEN GOREAN DONATION TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE GUERNSEY CHESHIRE HOME
Workshop at the Guernsey Cheshire Home, where Eugen paints one of his famous peacocks in 20 minutes in front of the residents and donates the artwork. AFG pays for the framing and also for the framing of the collective artwork done by the residents. AFG and the GCH start a long-standing collaboration.
