The Skate Art Project is a collaboration between Guernsey Skateparks and the Youth Commission, who have taken over the management and running of the skatepark at Beau Sejour. It follows on from the skating session that took place in the Art for Guernsey Gallery at the end of our Transformation exhibition, and the objective is to beautify the skatepark with street art to give ownership to its users and to bring character and identity to the space. Across four days, our renowned street artist friends Teddy Baden, Charlie Mcfarley and Andrew McAttee, together with talented local artist Bjorn Martin, will lead a workshop encouraging young artists to hone their skills and create an amazing environment they can be proud of.
